Does cult-favourite and one of New York’s best selling concealers Rewind® Eraser live up to the hype.
When it comes to drugstore concealers, few have reached the iconic status of the Instant Age Rewind® Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer. With its built-in sponge applicator and brightening formula, this cult favorite promises to erase dark circles, fine lines, and signs of fatigue in just a few swipes.
But does it really deliver? We put it to the test.
From the very first application, we were impressed by how effortlessly the concealer blended into the skin.

The lightweight, creamy texture provided smooth, even coverage without feeling heavy or cakey. Whether used under the eyes or to conceal blemishes and redness, it delivered a natural, radiant finish that instantly brightened the complexion.

“The sponge top is very unique, and once I tried it, made it very easy to ensure a smooth consistency which I like very much.
It is very well designed for travel. The consistency is very good – not too thick or thin, and the sponge helps even it out, This is a great product. For me the coverage was natural – I tried it both under and over my foundation, and it works both ways.
It lasted well and I had no issues at all. I literally had no issues when I wore it on a long flight. It also works brilliantly and seemly with every product I use, which includes multiple foundations, setting powders and setting sprays.
Definitely best suited for people with dark circles, redness, and any skin condition they want to conceal. I would and I actually found it works over the entire face as a foundation – and I put this down to the amazing formula which is not overly heavy or light. A must in my travel bag.
I rate this product 9/10″.

“The applicator is innovative and unique, with a soft, felt-like tip that applies the product smoothly. It deposits the concealer wet and blendable, feeling cool under the eyes for a slight sculpting effect.
The serum-like formula blends well and doesn’t dry too quickly while maintaining coverage throughout the day—even without powder. It layers well with other products and touches up easily.
This is a medium to heavy coverage concealer, great for under-eyes and blemishes. The peach-olive shade helps correct hyperpigmentation. Without powder, it settled into creases, but pressing powder into the wet concealer fixed it. It didn’t oxidize, though it clung to dry patches around my nose, which I remedied with setting spray and a beauty blender.
For daily wear, it lasted well. I don’t wear makeup while exercising or in extreme heat, but it held up fine for a normal day, especially with touch-ups. It worked well with powders and creams, and I preferred using it under blush and bronzer (underpainting).
This is a reliable, hydrating concealer that doesn’t settle into fine lines or highlight hyperpigmentation. While not my go-to, it’s a foolproof option for quick, effective coverage—
I rate this product 8/10″.

“I really enjoyed using this concealer and highly rate it. I have oily skin, and often I have to bypass the use of foundations altogether, and just wear concealer instead, as it stays longer and gives better coverage.
This concealer made for a great alternative to using foundation, as the colour match was perfect for my skin type. I didn’t need to apply all over the face, just applied to where I had skin inconsistencies (like blemishes and blotches) and blended into my skin. It gave me good coverage and didn’t feel heavy or caked on the skin.
I would image if using all over the face, you would need a setting powder however, as it does melt into any fine lines. As I used this concealer in conjunction with a BB cream (tinted moisturiser), I didn’t have that issue. However, I did for testing purposes apply the concealer all over my skin for a foundation, and it didn’t do much for my fine lines.
Overall, I would recommend this product, as it blended well and I loved how easily it worked combining it with my BB cream to give me good coverage.
I rate this product 9/10″.

“My first impression was that the product is quite small, making it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups.
However, I do wish there was more product inside. The texture and application were amazing—not too bulky or overly liquid, making it super easy to apply and blend. The shade was a perfect match for my dark skin, and the sponge applicator made application even more effortless.
The coverage looked natural, giving my skin a beautiful dewy finish without making it appear oily. It lasted all day without creasing when applied to dry skin. However, in hot weather, my face tends to sweat a lot, which made the concealer less long-wearing and added extra shine.
It layered well with other products, helping my makeup last longer and giving my face a more polished look. As someone with dark circles, I found that this concealer effectively brightened my under-eyes when applied correctly. It also worked well to cover my hyperpigmentation.
Overall, I’ll definitely repurchase this product. It’s incredibly handy, easy to apply, and the sponge applicator makes the process even more seamless.
I rate this product 8/10″.

“Application of this concealer is very easy to use and applies well to skin.
I blended it with my regular foundation and then used a finishing powder to polish off the look, as the concealer alone made my skin look a little too oily. The concealer isn’t oily though, it’s rich in serums, so quite moisturising. You need a finishing powder to help keep skin looking smooth and less wet looking.
I enjoyed using the product and would recommend it for anyone who needs an easy travel concealer companion, as it fits well into any purse and has a smooth sponge like applicator at the tip to help you dab and blend when on the go.
I rate this product 7/10″.
