Wella’s Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue Leave-In Spray is making waves across the internet.
Wella Professional’s Ultimate Repair Miracle Hair Rescue Leave-In Spray, a 90 second repair treatment spray, has a 94% recommendation rate and over 830 5-star reviews online. Further – it’s viral on Tik Tok, recommended to users all over the app because of Wella’s patented in-house healing formulation.
With a patented formula, the spray is a standout in the haircare space too. Here are the Bondi Beauty team’s reviews.
Claiming to repair hair in just 90-seconds ‘from the inside out’ using a protected formula, Wella’s leave-in spray is filled with hero ingredients like Alpha-Hydroxy Acid (AHAs) and Omega-9s.
AHAs work to strip debris like oils, dirt and extra product from hair, helping to encourage volume and shine to dulled, weighed down and greasy hair. Omega-9s strengthen the bonds and proteins in hair, improving its overall appearance and preventing breakage.

The Wella leave-in spray states to provide “two times smoother hair in only 90 seconds, 99% less breakage, legendary shine that lasts up to four washes,” and “strong detangling power.” With haircare shifting to a more holistic approach, valuing hair health whilst wanting to maintain efficacy and timeliness, the Wella 90-second guarantee has made this product a staple in many beauty guru’s stash.
The entire Ultimate Repair range includes a shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and the leave in spray. It’s cruelty free, vegan and designed with colour treated hair in mind. Whilst the entire line is popular, the leave-in spray is by far the best selling. The larger size retails for $141 on Sephora, so it’s a pricey investment. Yet, users with hair ranging from bleached pixie cuts and 4c curls found it worked for them, providing weightless hydration and shine.
The Bondi Beauty team, who also range in hair type and concern, tested the spray. Take a look at their thoughts:

This product is super easy to use and repairs hair well. I actually enjoyed spraying it in and leaving it in overnight to detangle, and give my dry, brittle ends some moisture. Particularly good when traveling as it is so small and the bottle is made of plastic, so not heavy.
The formula is quite fine and sprays on quickly – I used it on the bottom third of my hair with extra sprays on the ends – the ones that need the most TLC. The fresh, clean fragrance was not overly strong and the product dried on the hair quickly. This spray is part of a three-step product range by Wella which I’ve used and love, but this spray is such an effective stand-alone product for thin hair like mine.
I like to use this spray 1-2 times a week to smooth hair and give it extra strength. It’s especially useful for travel when my hair becomes dehydrated from the aircraft and from changing temperatures. The most unique aspect is that this product can be left in the hair overnight but is not greasy, heavy or oily. I would definitely buy the Wella leave in. It’s a 9/10 product.

I really enjoyed the results of this product. I did have to use several times before I found the best way for it to work with my hair type. Curly/fuzzy. Once I worked out the best way to work with it, I did find my roots were less frizzy with less breakage after using for a few times. I have dry, curly and fuzzy hair, most of my breakage often comes from the roots, rather than the ends. I found my hair felt smooth and nourished after usage.
After washing my hair, I would spray this product on the roots and comb through and then after 90 seconds apply my leave in conditioner. There wasn’t any real scent that I could pick up, product just smelt like a hair treatment and was easy to apply to hair after washing.
I would use it again as I was happy with the results it gave me on managing my frizzy hair sections.
8.5/10.

The Wella Repair Spray has been a welcome addition to my hair care routine. As someone with curly hair that doesn’t want to have to constantly maintain her curls after every wash with an in-depth routine, the hydrating yet weightless formula of this product has been a game-changer.
Whilst it hasn’t given me the most defined curls (as it’s not a curl product), it’s maintained the health and balance of my hair – whilst taming my frizz. I’ve loved it for airdrying my hair before straightening or blow drying – as I’m not thinking about my curls anyway.
On application there’s a light scent, but after scrunching my curls it fades and leaves just the smell of my other haircare products. It’s made my hair visibly smoother and frizz-free.
At a higher price point, I felt the packaging and general experience of the product was worthwhile. I would buy this product in future. I’d love to try it in tandem with other Wella products, too, to see how they perform together. 9/10.
